Damn - that IS a great price but still too pricy for me - I keep waiting for the 12 cup Breville to go on sale but no luck yet...

It's a mystery. OP likes surprises.

Bed Bath & Beyond [bedbathandbeyond.com] has it on sale for the same price, $399, in case that works out better for anyone. Officially, Breville is excluded from BBB discounts, but I have heard that they sometimes make exceptions in store. They also have some deal going now where you get a $50 "reward" for any $200 purchase, and the Breville is eligible for that. Personally, I've been waiting for any price drop on this for a couple of months now, and I think I'm finally ready to pull the trigger.

there was actually a way to apply 20% coupons to breville online (using phone number to sign up), but it doesn't seem to be working anymore Frown

there's still the discounted gc from discover points for bbb though, making it better than Amazon for now

Added $399 to description. It was in the title, looks like mod took it out for some reason.

~$400 should be the price everywhere Breville is sold, even on Breville's own website. It looks like a temporary $100 price reduction directly from Breville.

This is a good deal for an excellent appliance.

I think you belong elsewhere - like the .98 shelf-stable pudding deal.....

Maybe this Breville is good, but I went through 3 of their dual boiler espresso machines in 2 years. It's $1,300. No excuse for that. Their customer service also isn't great. They had a 2 or 3 year warranty and wanted me to pay shipping within the first year. TG I bought it at BBB because I'd had some other random Breville small appliance that dialed years ago. I think a mini food processor.

Our Breville toaster is having issues after less than 2 years also. It was like $80-$100. I've had black & decker crap $20 toasters last longer.

My take on Breville is great style and features and poor reliability.

Our Breville Barista Express has been serving us little over 4 years now without issues. Same for our food processor and boiler. All have been reliable.

You seem having some very bad luck with the brand.
