is this that cheap thin shit
Dang, that's pretty wasteful. If you put coconut oil in a stainless steel pan until it smokes, it seals it up and becomes quasi-non stick. I'd rather use a little oil than have Teflon coursing through my veins.
What do people expect for $30? All-clad quality?

This.... However, it's not just limited to tools of the trade...I purchased T-fal set that was a slick deal a few years ago that quite honestly should be recalled due to burn dangers. The handle on the T-fal is hollow and allows the heat from the flame to travel up the handle. I've been burned so many times, I needed to buy sleeves to go over the handles. Sorry for the rant, but something to keep in mind.

Edit:. Looking at the pictures a bit closer, these appear to be the same bad design.

It's $30 for a 13 piece set, what do you think?

If you want non-cheap shit then get some of this: https://slickdeals.net/f/14546294-7-piece-all-clad-stainless-steel-cookware-set-300-free-shipping?

It's good enough for us. We replace the non-stick set every year. It's been this price on BF for ages.

Check your AMEX deals. I have one for $10 back on a $60 Macy's purchase and 2 points back per $1 spent.

Bought this set in 2015 to see if we liked cooking with stainless or not. Still using them today. I also have several all-clad pans. They all cook things just fine.

For $30 it's hard to go wrong. No idea what people are talking about not being able to hold handles or having to replace it yearly.
