I tried and getting "We encountered a system issue while processing your payment. Please try again later" while using Amex eGC for visa card purchase.. What am i doing differently than you guys?
I just got the email that my payment was officially approved, so it all worked for me. you still not figure out the problem? I bought right around when you were posting.

Did you encounter the payment error? Did you create an account? Was it accepted the first time you tried to buy? Can't seem to figure out the payment error issue...Mad

No. It is still throwing error for me. Were you also getting error first and then got it approved? What did you do differently to get approval?

No, other than I think at first I didn't enter my amex ccv because I couldn't find it originally. lol. So got an error telling me to enter that is all.

I didn't do anything special, though, just entered the amex info. I checked out as guest. If you have an account maybe there is some issue due to that?

Tried both with account and through gues checkout.. Getting same error.. Its a business eGC from Amex.. Not sure if that makes a difference

Could be. I think I ended up getting a personal egift card instead of business. i remember it having a field for putting a business name, but I can't 100% remember if that was when i started to get a business one or if it still had that for the personal one. i think I left it blank, though.

Anyone have an idea of how I could use the card for something other than a purchase, such as getting the money from it itself into my paypal account or checking account? Ju7st annoying thinking how it's actually costing me $9 in cash back if I use it for a purchase. lol.

Is there any way to reload extra money on these or transfer money from it into a checking account?

Says up to 5% cash back when using the card and then doesn't list where you can get it or how much from each place.

Probably not in a way where it won't cost you anything extra. I am probably going to use it to reload on Amazon gift cards, since debit card reloads get you an additional 2%.

only if prime is active, though, and I have the 2 prime cars so would still feel like I'm losing money there. I can't think where to best spend this without feeling I am wasting it due to other cards with cash back. Blah.

There is a way. Since true MS is hard to come by these days I won't post it online. But it involves paypal. See if you can figure it out.
