Great deal OP with the Tracfone rebate. Amazon also has the Moto G Power at $179. I have owned both the Stylus and the Power (my present phone} and I prefer the power as the wide angle lens can be used with the still cam and unless they changed the software on the Stylus that wide angle lens can only be used with the video cam. They are both excellent phones and if u need the memory (I don't) the Stylus is the way to go...

BTW: The next version of the Power will have a slower chip and lower resolution than the present one, but a bigger battery and screen according to the press I have read...

Rebate and tracfone two negatives.

FYI I purchased, direct from Motorola/Lenovo, a new phone this time last year. It had, and still does, weak wifi reception. Their answer on the 2nd day of ownership was to simply factory reset it.

Fast forward to this past fall and they announced that they will no longer provide any updates , not even security patches.

I won't consider another Moto device since lack of security updates now means my <1 year old phone will soon be blacklisted by our company portal due to security risk aka patch levels out of date.

So you are wondering if "Made for US" in the title (and on the Amazon product page), means it might not be made for the US? 🙄

I got the Moto G Power as my current phone as well. I have been so impressed by it that I actually bought 3 of them (1 Tracfone, 1 unlocked Amazon and 1 Google Fi). I am giving two of them as a gift and using one for myself as my daily driver..... I remember seeing a youtube reviewer talking about stylus inability to take pictures with the ultrawide. He thought the Moto G Power and Stylus cameras were so similar with pictures he took but I thought the stylus had the better pictures but not by much. I just took three pictures with my Moto G Power (4:3, 16:9 and 19:9) on my computer desk. While the ultrawide looks cool to see how it uses up the screen, it looks a lil bit stretched and off so I can't see myself using it over the 16:9 ratio. I am going to assume the ultrawide picture would look better with the stylus. I thought the 16:9 was definitely the best looking of the bunch to view on my phone.... The Moto G Power and Stylus take very good pictures especially in their price range. It even gets better with GCAM Parrot which I am using. I really need to play around with the Moto Cam and GCAM and run a comparison test and see their features. The Macro is awesome with the Moto Cam. If I can take either the stylus cam or the power cam, I would take the stylus cam with its 48mp. Is the improved camera, stylus, extra 64GB internal storage and having a smaller battery worth the extra price? That depends on the user. If someone already has a microSD card and no interest in the stylus, the choice is clearer.

What phone did you get? A cheap Moto E phone gets 0 system update and 1 year security updates? The Moto rules always apply to their system and security updates depending on the phone you get.

Motorola never announced that they will no longer provide any updates or security updates for the Moto G Power and Stylus. This phone has been only out 7 months. Think about the low price that people are paying for the phone. 1 system update and 2 years of security updates isn't bad at all. It isn't on the level of Pixel or Apple but I will I say that system updates and security updates are overrated and I say that as a Pixel and iPhone user.... Are the phones blowing up if they don't get the latest system update? People can't even tell the difference between a system update. People have been using old phones for many years that haven't had the latest security updates and they all haven't been hacked. Just watch some of the websites you go to and don't download suspicious files.
