Great speakers
Can confirm. Have two pair. One as atmos in front and the other pair on my wall as rear surrounds to clear up floor space and WAF.

What crossover did you set them as? I'd like to hang them high in front wall

You need a ceiling 14 ft or less for these to work. Correct? I have 25 ft high ceilings. Would help if i mounted them high and the pointed them down. I know that defeats the purpose of the forward firing but wasn't sure if this would be a work around

that ceiling height limit sounds right. You may be better off getting a wall mounted speaker and setting it to elevation/presence mounted 15ft above your L+R fronts. I just tried doing the ceiling reflecting atmos with some spare bookshelf speakers and it didn't work with my popcorn textured 9ft drop ceiling. To be fair, I read that it wouldn't work with highly textured ceilings. I guess, just keep reading and look at your receiver's supported speaker configs. In my case I think I'm leaning toward going with sonance ceiling speakers. Good luck figuring it out.

The front as Atmos I have set at 140hz. The rear surround I use these for as well I have at 100hz.

I actually use these with a popcorn ceiling and they work well. That being said my ceiling is only 10ft.

I just realized right now if you apply the offer in your AE credit card account online use your AE credit card for this purchase you can get a $25 statement credit when you reach $250 total in one or more transactions by January 4th. This certainly can easily get you there if you add something else to it. Now I'm wondering what costs about $25 that I can add to my cart so I essentially get it for free. Might be useful for those with AE or other credit card that have similar offers through Adorama.

Can these be attached to RP-280F floor standings to make them Atmos enabled?

this has been listed many times by the same SD editor (iconian) for the same product, from the same SD sponsor (adorama) over the past 6 MONTHS. so how much of a sale is this when they are almost always this price?

as usual (like all adorama posts), it gets front page status (Chosen by the same SD editors that post this), not by the community.

the manufacturer does not even officially have a frequency response spec for this model they only list "Conforms". you have to dig into other manufacturer documents to find out the information on crossover setting is buried very deep in those documents. the crossover should be set to a MINIMUM of 150 Hz, see attached screenshot. so don't expect full range performance from this product.

Yep...I agree on the shady way some deals get to be 'deals'... And you're correct, the manual ( http://assets.klipsch.com/product...Manual.pdf ) says 150 is the crossover. I have mine set to 120, and they seem to be fine.

They do sound great and if you play any of the Atmos trailers (or movies) they really do shine.

Actually...this *is* a better price than what I got them for, by $20...but they dropped shortly after I purchased mine.
