I'm not sure you should call that a "huge" difference.

31.5" @ 2560x1440 is a pixel density of 93.24 ppi.
27" @ 1920x1080 is a pixel density of 81.59 ppi

That's a 14% increase in pixel density compared to the monitor they didn't like.

The closest direct comparison that people might be familiar with is a 24" @ 1920x1080, which is a pixel density of 91.79 ppi.
I think this is the lowest it's ever been, I bought a few weeks ago when it was 179 and even then it was a great deal
What a steal. I'd by another if I hadn't already bought two at $179.

I purchased the $99 Dell 27" FHD monitor from Office Depot last month, but I wasn't happy with it and sent it back. Got this one for $180 instead and am very happy with it. I'm not sending it back to save $20, but it sure is tempting to pick up a second one!

is the resolution high enough? I remember trying out a 27'' 1080p one and realized it was not high enough for me, just wondering if the 1440p will be good enough on a 32''. I"ll be using it for work, no gaming. thanks!

Yes the resolution will be good. There's a huge difference between this and 1080p.

Thanks OP. Ordered one for pickup.

Was torn between Acer Walmart 32" 1080p and AOC 27" 1440p from office depot.

This has best of both worlds. Reviews look promising. Will report back.
