Crazy that this is 50% off. However, the lack of a center channel and support for only Dolby Audio is a concern. I've been looking to upgrade from my 2yo Samsung soundbar and spent the last couple weeks doing research. I would recommend you folks to take advantage of the savings you can get this BF and get a bar that supports Dolby Atmos. Some might not be aware of this, but without Dolby Atmos support you will not be able to fully enjoy some of the most popular titles such as Stranger Things, Mandalorian, etc. These are engineered with 3D and height/overhead sound effects that can only be experienced with a Dolby Atmos system. Also a practical choice as Atmos is becoming more and more mainstream. You don't want to get a soundbar that might become obsolete a few months down the road. Didn't want my soundbar research to go to waste as soon as I pull the trigger so I figured it might be of some help here. I know everyone has different tastes and preferences, and sound quality can be very subjective. Therefore, I decided to base my research purely on product specifications for the most factual side-by-side comparisons.

Hope it helps someone Smilie

That's some nice data, but quite a bit out of the league of this soundbar. Most of those are $1000+. Also, I think "obsolete" is a bit strong for something that is going to be down-sampling the full-range mix from 7.1 or more channels no matter what encoding system is used. A 2.1 soundbar is going to be substantially better than practically any in-built system on an existing TV and, while I can appreciate spatial sound*, it's not really necessary for any casual TV consumption.

(*I have a 1000W RMS Denon Rec/amp with a hardwired Velodyne 7.1 system in my home theater, I think spatial is still only trivially better on most content)
