Reels have a little sketchy reviews but the rods seem to be a solid buy at the buy one, get one price point. I grabbed a couple new catfish rods (Erebus) for 109 (no tax) plus 10 shipping. Got the 1 piece 6'6 and 2 piece 9' rods.

Tight lines!

Sixgill makes great rods and bait caster reels. I haven't been really impressed with their spinning reels. They are a local company in the DFW area. I am most impressed with their customer service. They go above and beyond when there's an issue.

I second this. They are a small company, but have a lifetime warranty on rods and a good warranty on reels and stand behind their product. Highly recommended.

Lifetime warranty only applies to certain rods:

What didn't you like about the 6' rod? How is the weight and sensitivity? I am apprehensive about purchasing because they are e-glass instead of s-glass. Help push me over the edge...

Edit: Nah, you can't push me over the edge. EVA handle, plastic reel seat, and unknown guides with unknown inserts. That makes it a hard pass Frown
