This Lenovo display does have Bluetooth. I use it for audio on my laptop everyday. Just say ok google turn on Bluetooth and Bluetooth is enabled. It will say looking for paired devices. Works seamlessly and the audio quality is decent. It is similar to the Google Mini assistant I have.
from what i can tell, you can connect other devices to it to stream music on the lenovo smart display, but you cant pair a speaker to the lenovo smart display. aka, it can receive, but not send. its pretty infuriating as the speaker is pretty garbage on it.

Yup that's correct. Kinda curious but what would you recommend in the $100 range. I want to buy a good speaker for my computer and am just using the Lenovo since I got it for $20 on clearance. My ears are not used to listening to a nice speaker so I just settled with the Lenovo. I was looking at the IKEA Sonos speaker as well

Just ant ole bluetooth speaker? I can't offer anything in that price range, but even a sound core boost or jbl flip will blow the lenovo out of the water. Both closer to $50.
Even the amazon echo dot, which can often be had for free has 100x superior sound.
Just a tip, most (all) cellphones have a scanner app you can download. There are a bunch out there. Take a picture of the page you're scanning and it converts it into a pdf. It's been working great for me, and it's free (unless you pay a dollar or two for additional feature)
It's a good tip if you have a good camera and scanner app ( I used to use Google Drive, but it seems worse now for some reason ), but I've been annoyed enough trying to use various apps with varying degrees of success over the past couple of months that $19 is a no brainer if it works well.
Don't buy Cannon printers. The ink is not worth it
If you just print color once in a while get a cheap laser printer and get color prints elsewhere. Saved me a fortune.
This is sound advice. I'm still using an old b/w hp laser printer from more than 15 years ago. I've replaced the toner twice with cheap generics this whole time. Still prints fine. Especially nowadays, where most things are sent over the internet, I cannot justify getting a color laser printer unless you constantly use it for school or business.
I tried inkjet but the amount of money I wasted on ink replacements really made me swear off inkjet forever. Don't get me wrong...they are great for printing photos, but I do not use it often enough to prevent the ink from drying up during months of sitting idle.
You don't need ink to use it as a scanner. 20 bucks for a scanner that can print is not bad
True. But there are very few instances where Adobe Scan on a decent cell phone won't do the trick. In the past 5 years I haven't needed a physical scanner even once.
