I wasn't able to do either. 1) Tried to order a second gift card with my primary account and was denied. 2) Then tried to order a second gift card with a second account and had it cancelled by Best Buy. They sent an email saying "Unfortunately, we had to cancel your order because it has exceeded our orderable quantity limits. Please see our Conditions of Use, which explains order limitations and limited quantities."

For those of you using your Discover card for that 5% category:

Check your statement history. I only ended up receiving 1% for my Apple gift card purchase.

Edit: I contacted Discover CS and they added the other 4%.

Wow, thanks for the tip! Definitely going to keep an eye out for my upcoming statement. I wonder how this could even happen since the merchant code shouldn't be marked or categorized differently than any other BestBuy purchase as far as I'm aware 😟

I'm not entirely sure either. Initially, I thought it might've been because I made my purchase at Best Buy before they added Best Buy into the 5% category, but I double checked and seemed like that wasn't the case.

In regards to viewing the cash back, you can click on the transaction (if the transaction has posted) to see details such as how much cash back you earned on that purchase without needing to wait for your next statement.

Bestbuy orders keep getting cancelled even on first order
Did someone in your house also buy gift cards?
Best Buy flags orders from duplicate accounts (same address, IP address)

I spent $500 at Best Buy using Discover on November 28
I clicked the transaction to view the cash back
Saw $5 cash back

Thought I was supposed to get $25 back (which is 5% cash back)

Anyone used Discover card and had a same problem

For me it only worked with 1 digital and 1 physical. Also, it resets every 24 hour.
Have you ordered 1 more gift card?
