I've always hated how they black out the spaces in between the branches to make it pass for a fuller tree. What it should look like is a real picture of it in a lighted room so you can actually see it.

Got the home depot one and it's really nice with the lights and remote control functions. The power to the lights is thru the center base so there's no plugs to worry about besides the outlet plug.
