If you are looking for a slightly smaller trampoline with more safety padding, this 7-foot trampoline on sale for $129 is another good deal.

Good idea, but I've seen it in store for less than $100

I specifically brought this up to my IA and they basically said that so long as you don't have one when the policy is written it's OK. Now, he might have been giving me the benefit of the doubt, but I did ask.

OF course the simple answer is - don't let people other than your own family on it. Most trampoline accidents (or rather, ER visits) are due to multiple people on it colliding (75% [tulsalegalfirm.com]), not falling off or getting hung up in the springs.

In the discussion with the IA he said trampolines are considered attractive nuisances, which in my mind is total bullshit. So, I can have a piece of equipment with full safety (netting, padding) in my back yard where it cannot be seen from the road or neighbors BUT if someone isn't watching their kid and they come onto my property, wander around, get into the trampoline and get hurt it's my fault? It's not like I have landmines in my yard....
You might be covered on the land mines.

Same here, hard to pull the trigger after Walmart had the 14' for the same price last Saturday- though that was an unattainable deal, in-store only and sold out less than 5 minutes.
Need one for three kids too, and don't think 10' will cut it, not with my kids anyway.
If you have an Academy Sports near you (I don't, and shiping kills any deal) they will have a 12' for $130, a 14' fo $150, and 15' for $199 starting Nov 22nd. No idea how fast those will sell out.
Yeah these 3 kids are age 4 and 10. They have a blast in the 10ft but multiple older kids wouldn't have alot of space or probably tear it apart. And big ups on the Academy Sports link! Sadly im in VA and not close to a location but will keep them in mind incase I decide its worth a road trip, lol!

I've never had anyone come by my house for an insurance inspection that I know of.... and I've had multiple different companies over the years.
As the other commenter said, they just drive by unless you have a really massive property, in which case they may come down the driveway. Now days, I understand some also take a look at the satellite photos.
