Agree. If this is your budget, you'll occasionally find $100 suits from jos a banks reserve or sig gold lines that you might be able to make cheaper ($80ish) with cash back sites or coupon codes through chat. 100% wool, half canvas.

If you can stretch, $200 gets you into spier or jomers with the pandemic pricing.

Plastic suits are never a good idea.
I get tired of posts like these. I've had some polyester suits from Express that fit well that I've been wearing for 8 years. Still recieve compliments.

FYI to anybody who cares about the material, all 2-piece suits in this deal appear to be polyester.
Thanks. Saved me ton of time!

I've bought high end suits and I've bought a handful of polyester suits. The high end suits went out of style and now they're worthless. Sure the polyester suits are not as comfortable but they do the job, look good enough that I'm complimented on them, and I won't feel as crappy when I eventually have to toss em whether they go out of style or because i had a fun night out with friends and did something stupid.

What kind of weird things did you order to have on your high end suits? These cheap polyester suits frequently have things that are out of style as they are anyways, like lapels that are way too skinny, center vents, jackets that are too short, or other things.

You could just order a high end suit that follow timeless style guidelines that avoids falling into short term style trappings, wear it for decades (with proper care), actually have it drape nicely and feel nice, and be able to move around in it. Not only would it look expensive and feel comfortable to wear, a person that knows suits will easily see it's not a cheap plastic suit. I still order high end suits that are decades old on Ebay, get them tailored to fit me, and while they might not look super modern, they still look very sharp, expensive and easy to pull off, and more than enough to look impressive to anyone that is short of a sartorialist.

If you want a disposable suit because you're worried you're going to do somethings stupid in them, there are alternatives to that like used Ebay suits, or new Jos A Bank suits. Just the other day Spier and Mackay had their suits on sale for $200 which were real genuine quality modern suits that have everything a decent suit should have. IMO these plastic suits just aren't worth it with the other options that are out there.

There's no reason to get tired of good advice. A polyester suit can work short term with the right crowd (or as far as they're telling you to your face), and you may be lucky and stretch it out to 8 years somehow without the canvass bubbling up or something horrible. The fact still remains that you can get a cheap wool suit with proper construction for only a little bit more, fool more people that you're wearing a cheap suit, and that cheap wool suit will still last longer than the polyester one with the same amount of care.

I don't mind the comments suggesting going with higher quality, but I personally only need a suit if I go on a cruise or go to a funeral. Think I've worn a suit one time in the last three years. These work for that.

polyester crap why is this even worth 400 dollars and it's not even tailors msrp. fk that.
70 bucks is still too expensive for cheap crap that doesn't even fit.

spend the money and get 100% wool suits.
then tailoring it would be worth it.

generic suits are trash. You need it tailored to your size and cheap polyester crap isn't worth tailoring.

the tailoring costs more than the suits.
