I can get the ryzen 4500u version which is far more superior for the same price .
The AMD version at Amazon definitely has a much better CPU, but this laptop does have a larger hard drive, and more importantly you get Costco's customer service and a free 4 year warranty (if you use the Citi Costco card for the purchase). I ended up going with the Costco laptop for that reason.

Then you can get the ryzen 4700 u from Costco . It is a bit more expensive but it is infinitely better . Cpu and gpu wise m

My budget is $600, but if I were to spend $750, I'd go with the Lenovo Yoga 7i with an 11th gen intel processor and significantly better display at best buy for $749. That deal was posted to these forums recently.
Costco is also selling a HP 15.6' touch screen with 12GB RAM and 512GB SSD for $599. I picked one up last night, was gonna wait for the Staples $550 Lenovo (which I bought few weeks ago for $569) but it will be in store only and it looks like Staples might not have a lot in stock.
Specs wise compared to the Flex 5 Lenovo, the HP has 4GB less RAM and no fingerprint reader but the screen is bigger. Other than that the rest is on par with the Lenovo.

Agreed. For web surfing and doing homework you probably won't notice the difference anyway.

This one is intel processor (not Ryzen) and that too 10th Gen and not latest 11th Gen which makes me think twice, would be outdated much faster. Bestbuy Lenovo Yoga is 150 more but has more future proof specs. Besides yoga series are better built quality than Flex I heard though no first hand experience.

Actually, this i5-1035G1 is rebranded 8th Gen processor. True 10th Gens end with either G4 or G7
So, for $599 this is an overpriced deal
