No USB ports. If you look at the product pictures, there aren't any https://pisces.bbystatic.com/image2/BestBuy_US/images/products/6386/6386391cv13d.jpg

Is it worth upgrading from a 27" WQHD monitor to a 4K one? Moving from FHD to 27" WQHD gave me a lot of screen estate to play with, not sure if 4K will be better since I may have to increase the display scaling of text/apps to see it.
I got the lg one best buy also has on sale for around this price and trying to decide to keep it or not for this exact reason. With scaleing it's really not much difference to my dell 27" 1440p. The Dell also has better color. While text is definitely sharper side by side, it's also much smaller. Plus I would not say the text is unsharp on the Dell, it's just sharper on the lg. And with no scaling it's way to small at this size.

Since my monitor is working fine I'm leaning towards returning it. Once it dies I would probably get something larger if it's 4k. I also have a 55" 4k that I use as another monitor but I mostly use it for viewing media and lightroom, not really as a workspace for much else since it's too big. plus the color accuracy is crap which is why I was looking into getting an actual monitor instead of using a tv. I think between a 32-40 inch 4k would be a better to balance practical size and the usefulness of those extra pixels.

I'm looking for a good gaming monitor for my son and I'm not sure which of the current slick deals on monitors to choose. His gaming computer is about a year old and I would say mid range in price. Not sure what type of video card is in it. Any ideas

If he's a hardcore gamer then this isn't a good one. You want low ms and high hz.

Man this is a deal for a true 4k IPS with Vesa albeit 75X75 with a funky back, HDR10 which you aren't going to use (probably) but nice monitor for a nice price. I think once you go 4k Monitor you won't want to go back to anything else. I have a QHD Viewsonic 144hz and I just replaced it with a 4k LG that was onsale earlier this week. It's not a gaming monitor but you can game on this all the same lol. It's a trade off do you want beautiful 4k picture or less blur when the action starts. I can't differentiate between the 144hz and 60hz personally, but I know there is a big difference I just can't see it. Or the trade off is more satisfying for me to have the extra pixel density than less motion blur.

Spend a little more , get a good vesa configuration, adjustable stand and brighter display at 350 nits (+50 from this deal)
That's a good deal too if those things are important to you, they were not for me. I just needed something with high resolution and a large screen to put down on my desk at the office since my Dell Ultrasharp came home months ago and I split my work now. This Samsung is plenty bright enough considering its 18-24 inches from my face.

So, which one would be nice home use monitor while working from home office? This one or 32" from Samsung? Currently have Dell SE2717, with max resolution 1920x1080.

It's an interesting tradeoff: This is IPS and slightly brighter @ 28" (with HDR) whereas the other (from Samsung directly) is VA but 32".

Honestly not sure which one I'd take. Smaller size means higher DPI, but with 4k, that is likely not a big factor anyway and the larger size would be preferred. Then there's VA vs IPS. Though, if sitting right in front of it (as you likely are), that shouldn't be much of a drawback.

6 of one I guess Smilie

Ahh man! more and more deals as BF and CM is around the corner. Waiting for 32" curved 4k or at least 1440p @ 144hz. Too much temptations. I want to pick up two of any 32" or 27" with same specs. Waiting game now.

I got an LG 32UL500 4K VA display a week ago. I will return it tomorrow. Today i got this Samsung and for daily work it is way better than a VA display for me. My eyes will get tired after an hour on the VA panel. The only thing the LG VA panel did better is movies with excellent black color rendering.

I got it for my PS5 and looks amazing. I understand the 60hrz only option, but once 4k 120 is affordable and more options are out, this will do just fine.

I'm trying to get the best picture on my ps5 did you happen to change any settings. Also were you able to get game mode enabled? It's greyed out for me

If you are going to use it for office work, I would go with IPS panel (28). That 32" has VA panel
