you basically need to spend a few hours telling them about the rebate because they supposedly never received it. so a lot of emailing back and forth. Sometimes very slow reply or no reply. So need to consider how much your time is worth.
Ahh I miss the TigerDirect FAR rebates..
Slickdeals rebates plain stink. Still waiting on my lousy Macy's popcorn rebate from 2 years ago. Did everything perfectly to the letter of the "law"...but still...

Can a regular member who isn't a mod or work with SD, explain to me why SD Rebates are bad? I've usually avoided rebates because I have a tendency to forget.

The people who say they're bad are the ones who aren't willing to do the steps or aren't willing to wait (or just forget). If you're willing to jump through the hoops and willing to wait, there's nothing wrong with them.

I think in infancy there were s variety of issues and a lot of people got turned off to it. In truth I did not do any of them for a long time so I missed out on getting jaded.

The one time I did an SD rebate it worked without issue.

There are tricks to any cashback/point site that have to be followed to get credited. Many people have ad blockers installed (some browsers even have it built in now), so that can easily break the credit chain.

This mouse is very precise and also comfortable to use. But the mouse is easy to break into pieces once dropped to ground. The interesting thing is you can easily put all those tiny pieces together and it will work again.
