"Up to $200"...tried both iPhone 12 Pro and Pro Max. Both are just $150 off, plus $40 upgrade fee, that's just $110 off...Gonna wait for Target / BBY GC deal
Yeah its the same as the first SD post at $949. The $200 off is from Walmart msrp.

Ex 12 pro Max from WM $1149 not off Apple msrp $1099 very sneaky for WM but still a $150 off Apple msrp I got the pro Max

Smells like you need an unlimited plan for Verizon in order to get the instant reduction of $200 as well as the trade in. I've found that Verizon is forcing their unlimited plans on everyone in order to get any discounts
My thoughts exactly. Got really frustrated with this earlier in the week when literally every deal for every phone (not just iOS) was like "BOGO with unlimited plan" or "$400 off with unlimited plan".

It seems like the single line user who has actually realized they don't need unlimited data is the most screwed over with all the phone companies, not just Verizon.

You don't pay any upgrade/activation fee when buying from Apple and it's completely unlocked. Buying from Walmart, you pay another $40 activation fee. So it's only $110 saving.

For someone with an existing line, this seems like a decent deal. Have an iPhone 8, so don't anticipate a great trade in deal anywhere.

The upgrade fee can be waived by talking to AT&T chat but I haven't done yet it since I dont have my first bill. People have confirmed it and also from previous deals it works as well.

If first rep or two said no waive then try until you get one to waive. 🤗👋🙋 ♀️🙋 ♂️🙋

Looks like most of the discounts here are only $120-$150 off retail. Still better than nothing, but not the $200 in the title.

Literally just bought the iPhone 12 mini from Walmart (verizon) 24 month plan. Worth trying to get the difference back?

I don't get why y'all hating on $110-$150 discount. No other place is offering this discount right now. The most discount is Costco/Sam's $50 gift card. You can also tack $700 trade in on this.

A lot of folks on this site has the "if it does not apply to me I am going to downvote and crap over it" mentality. SD sure wasn't like this 5 years ago.

This is probably the current best deal that doesn't involve bill credits or a trade-in.

Do note that Walmart's MSRP is $80 higher. It's $200 off that price, not the price that everyone else has.

For example:

iPhone 12 mini 64GB for Verizon is $779 at Walmart (vs. $699.99 at Best Buy)
iPhone 12 64GB for Verizon is $879 at Walmart (vs. $799.99 at Best Buy)

Instead of $200 off, it's $120 off.

Still a good deal if you don't have anything to trade-in. Walmart also has these trade-in values: https://www.walmart.com/cp/apple-...s/5116563, which aren't that great unless you have an iPhone X or newer (actually, FaceID iPhones). If you have an iPhone X or later to trade-in, Best Buy has the better deal since there's no bill credits unlike Verizon's trade-in. Also, it doesn't look like you have to switch to Verizon's current "Unlimited" plan like you have to do with Verizon's.
