Just called ATT retention department (att loyalty) and was able to get $300 off of iPhone 12 pro. They were also able to waive the upgrade fee and priority shipping.

After 60 days you can request unlock with ATT
Did you mean to say after the phone is purchased or after paid in full? I am hesitant to go to AT&T as they don't unlock their phones until the full term which is absolute BS

This is the best deal your gonna find on the iPhone 12. I'm surprised they're doing it so soon.

If only the 12 had Touch ID I would be all over this. I can't stand Face ID. Whenever Apple brings that back they will sell even more. Especially with the masks having to be worn I don't see that stopping anytime soon. Soon Apple will have to call it mask ID

Curious too about Target and BB deals. I too want the best deal without having to go unlimited.

Same looking for deal without unlimited plan. For unlimited plan I need to increase my monthly bill by $30-$40 which is equivalent to 2 phones. laugh out loud

I think you are misunderstanding. It says the phone has to be paid off. Also, currently, I have an iPhone XR which is not still paid off and when I try to unlock it says It has to be paid off.
*****
Has a paid-off installment plan.
Paid through your monthly bill: Submit your unlock request at the start of your next bill cycle.
Paid off early: The wireless number assigned to the device must be active for at least 60 days. Wait 48 hours after you make your final payment to submit your unlock request. Learn how pay off your installment plan.
Doesn't have a past-due account balance. Make a payment to bring your account current. It will take 24 hours for

They don't. But it's a two year contract. So your line fee will change if you're not on unlimited. So it'll end up costing you more than it's worth

I guess they've gotten chinchy. It used to be $450 off, and that was a nice sweet spot. $300 is better than nothing though

Where did you find that Walmart phones are unlocked? I need to be fully sure before I locked into AT&T. Thanks in advance.

Literally just bought the iPhone 12 mini from Walmart (verizon) 24 month plan. Worth trying to get the difference back?
if it's costing you $24.12/month on your bill, you already got the discount.
