No deal for you for if you don't have unlimited plan. They're for sure unable to waive activate fee. On the way to the Apple store with hope face to face meeting persuades manager?
I've spent some time analyzing the numbers. It's basically a wash either way.
I have a 5GB single line plan with VZW at $55 per month
If you save $300 on the phone, but it's in bill credits over 24 months AND you have to get unlimited AND you go with the lowest unlimited plan, you are literally costing yourself $60 over the course of the 24 months AND are locked in for 24 months to VZW.
Here's the math/logic for me:
Buy phone outright at Reg Price $849 (iphone 12 128gb)
Current plan $55 per month
At end of 24 months, I'll have paid $1,320 in service
Total including phone: $2,169
Buy phone for $300 discount (in bill credits over 24 months) so you pay $549
New unlim plan $70 per month
At end of 24 months, I'll have paid $1,680 in service
Total including phone: $2,229
See. It's basically a wash either way.
By getting the $300 "savings" in bill credits, I'm now locked in to Verizon for 2 years...but I do have truly unlimited data for only $60 more over those 2 years
Also to make the deal a little better they only tax on the discounted price.
You can call att and have the upgrade fee credited.

It's very less
Is that $300 in bill credits or is it $300 off the phone itself?

I have 3 lines on 10 GB shared with the pro max and $15 insurance and total bill with taxes is $112. $100 cheaper a month than the unlimited plans you are forced into on Verizon.
Also Verizon told me there is a $10/month per line charge for any phones with 5G
It's very less
