Correct me if I'm wrong but seems like this thread refers to the s20 NOTE 5G and not the s20+ for $749. As another posted s20+ is $699 on Mucrosoft's ebay store.
The deal posted here is for s20+ for $749 but you are partially correct as there is a another deal going on at microsoft store which sells note 20 5g for $749 too. check out - https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/s...viewModes=
This is tempting as I've been eying the S20+ as an upgrade. The S21 release in January does give me some pause though.
The S21 and S21 plus are not going to be big upgrades, at least going by leaks and rumours. The S21 is supposed to come with a plastic back, 1080p display with 120Hz refresh rate that won't be dynamic (unlike the S21 Ultra that is expected to have a dynamic refresh rate display), similar if not the same cameras and the same battery capacity as the S20 (the S21+ is rumored to have a larger 4800mah battery). I even saw some Geekbench tests showing the S21 with 8gb RAM. It's rumoured to launch at a price 899 dollars. Looks like all the major upgrades are happening with the S21 Ultra. So unless you are planning on spending 1200+ USD on the Ultra, don't think there's much point waiting for the S21s. Oh and did I mention that there is a possibility of the S21 series launching without charger or earphones in thy box? IMO this is a very good deal, especially if you can buy some gift cards from Dell at 10% discount.
Phones are getting too expensive. I think consumers are getting sick of buying a phone at $1,000 to only have that phone worth $200 in two years. Especially with the upcoming recession that is going to occur, people are getting smarter with their money.
Surprisingly, there will be some people who will fall in the category of "I need a $1000 phone, but not sure about my financial future." These folks will just buy on a credit card, then possibly default and live with bad credit OR default and file bankruptcy. Either way, they get to keep their $1000 phones.
Arhhh so tempted to pull trigger on this. I'm still rocking OG Pixel XL but debating if this big of an upgrade is necessary. Though at same time if I can go 4 years without upgrade again why not
