Thanks, bought one.
Is the version from ebay exactly the same as the one from Microsoft Store with the Snapdragon processor? I could not find these details on ebay. I am tempted to cancel my purchase on Microsoft store and buy again on ebay...thoughts?

S series is a crippled Note. Note series has always been Samsung's King line.
But I'm comparing last year's note with this year's S.

I need phone badly but this close to BF, have to wait and see.
I think you'll miss out waiting, especially with those prices at the MS eBay store.

The model number is listed, for example: SMG986UZAAXAA

The "U" is the US (Snapdragon) version. Also on the specs the S20+ and Ultra show as having mmWave.

glass supposedly feels premium and also allows wireless charging.

not that i agree with it, it makes phones even more fragile when they are all glass.

But I remember forever when Samsung had thin removable plastic back every reviewer could never stop whining about how they didn't "feel premium" like probably apple.
I recently bought the Galaxy S20 FE, its has a plastic back and it feels premium to me compared to old phones I had with plastic backs years ago. Even with a SUPCASE on it has no problem with wireless charging.

This phone from MS store is unlocked version ? compatible with which carrier ?
Be careful with the unlocked versions. Some carriers don't allow all their normal features unless it was a carrier-locked phone at some point. I know at least AT&T does this and you cannot use wifi calling or visual voicemail on factory unlocked phones. It's ridiculous.

Phones are getting too expensive. I think consumers are getting sick of buying a phone at $1,000 to only have that phone worth $200 in two years. Especially with the upcoming recession that is going to occur, people are getting smarter with their money.
There are ppl that want the latest and greatest technology.

glass back is a crappy move to make it harder to replace the battery.. they use adhesive to seal the phone and you sometimes need heat to remove the adhesive, and if you heat stress glass, it could crack.
Oh, they use adhesive? No way!? Bad evil corporate greed, trying to keep their phones in one piece.

Same here. On Verizon prepaid, unlocked note 9. They don't have RCS enabled on the stock Samsung messaging, even tried the Verizon messaging app. Also tried adjusting carrier RCS settings. Even though it is available over Verizon, will not work. From what I read you could possibly call them and try to adjust your phone model to enable features, but I just use Google messages. Only wanted stock app for integrating with galaxy watch initially.

Solid price (even better via eBay)! I am actually considering upgrading from my Note 10+. High refresh and 5G might be worth it for me.
