This is tempting. The phone is $330 after the visa card, and the phone plan sounds pretty nice. Anyone have experience with this provider?

Most people on SD that purchase the device from Visible plans on leaving the carrier after two months, as the device comes unlock and they only tend to stay with them for two months to qualify for the rebate ($150). The service expense is $40 first mo + $25 second mo after joining partypay.

Device cost breakdown:
+$480 + tax
+$65 2mo svc
-$150 rebate
-$150-$200 if you resell the B&O Beosound A1
-9% cash back on $480

Thank for the info. I just wonder, where are they leaving this carrier to go?? Any true "slick dealer" would know to stay away from Verizon or AT&T. I use Ting now which is a great value, but looks like this provider shakes out to $70/month for two people for unlimited data, which seems kinda great. I guess if I'm going to switch carriers to get a phone deal, I'd want the possibility of sticking with it, or saving on a phone plan while I'm at it.

Visible is not too bad, $25/mo after being in a partypay group for unlimited text, talk, and data. Some people are on Mint Mobile where they are currently offering buy 3 months, get 3 months free (prepaid).

I am using Visible. I guess I can get a new line at either Google Fi or Visible.

Yeah agree with runtohell121. It's very easy to get on a party pay. There's an entire Reddit for it: VisiblePartyPay
https://www.reddit.com/r/VisiblePartyPay

Yes you join with strangers but everyone is billed individually through the Visible app so if someone doesn't pay no one is stuck with the bill. If a person leaves the party then you'll see an uptick in cost by $5 but if you do a bit of research on that subreddit, you'll find folks who are active in communication with each other if they plan to leave.

But if you're looking for long term discount without jumping around, it's hard to beat $25/month unlimited everything and 5mps hotspot.

I would guess it's possible to do it through the Party link and then buy via the offer in their store.

I'll warn you visible data is heavily deprioritized depending on your location. It's somewhat last in queue when it comes priority matrix behind VZW prepaid.

If you are referring to RebatesMe for the cashback, it's down to 1% now.
