Low res screen, plastic build and $1000 launch price. This phone is an insult to the Note line. It should have started like s20 FE with $500. This is still way over priced at $749. S20 plus from Microsoft is $700 and is a much better deal.

Seems like they are splitting the note line into high budget and low budget....

Target claims that they will price match rival retailers, if you buy the phone at full price, and find it for cheaper somewhere else before December 24th. They are currently offering the phone with a $250 gift card online. Maybe there is potential to get the phone priced matched to the $750 Best Buy price and also get to keep your $250 gift card? Making the phone essentially $500. I don't think Target will price match Microsoft, but I know that they will price match Best Buy.

$550 on Verizon device payments at best buy. I want an sd card slot though, bestbuy says it has one but cnet says only the ultra has an sd card slot.

Highly suggest looking at the innumerable articles [cnet.com] available on the difference between the two devices. There are also a lot of YouTube videos that outline the differences in detail. You'll get a lot more information there than any single response on this thread. I'm a Note 20 Ultra owner. Definitely would not pay $750 for the regular Note 20.

Like the Note 10 and Note 10+, the regular Note 20 is a solution to a problem that no one has. No SD card, less RAM, substantially lower-end cameras, no 120hz screen, plastic build. No one buys a note for just the SoC and the pen...at the cost of every other feature a normal Galaxy has.

For the $, better off getting a used Note 10+, or wait for a BOGO with the Ultra. The s20FE is the MVP of 2020, and with promos, is so much cheaper.
