$69.99 - Hot deal for this very highly rated sticker printer.

Never lower than $99 before per the camel.

No ink. You just need to buy the Zink paper. I have two Zink photo printers for 2"x3" prints, one from Canon and one from HP. This one uses slightly larger Zink paper. For the 2"x3" one, I have used HP, Kodak, Polaroid, Cannon brands Zink paper in both printers and they all work as long as I replace the blue calibration card of the Zink paper with the one from the printer. The inks are inside the paper and activated by heat.

This is pretty cool, how does this work? do I need to pay for ink? if this takes standard photo sizes then this seems like a pretty good deal.

How much does the paper cost? also, theoretically if the paper is activated by heat, could it be accidentally ruined if not stored properly?

Less than $10 for 20 prints, usual price, so that's the worst-case, assuming you can't do better than Amazon's price on the HP-branded ones:

How sticky are the sticky-backed ones in your experience? Could you stick them to a wall and remove them without damaging the wall? Is it more "permanent" on some surfaces than others?

I guess it depends on what kind of wall surface you have. I never put them directly on the wall but on books, cards, door, etc. It sticks pretty well. If you worry about peeling of paint, you may use other adhesive on the back without peeling off.

It needs pretty precise temperature to activate the dye. I have not seen any issue for the prints from several years ago. The lowest price of 2"x3" Zink paper I paid was less than 15 cents per print. However, there are less options for the 2.3"x3.4" paper for this printer. Anyway, it is far cheaper than regular mini polaroid camera as you choose a good photo to print. In addition, you may use the app to edit before printing.
This was the best deal I got last time.

The next best price was 3x 20pk HP Zink paper for $10 two years ago.

It's like a regular sticker you'd get for free somewhere. Probably not going to peel paint off the wall, but no trouble of it falling off paper.

My wife has one and loves it.

Bought this last year replacing instax. Its pretty cool because you can edit pictures before print however the software is crappy. Lag, slow. It takes a while if you want to print picture from start.
