Update 11-20-2020 #1: Looks like the plan detail is out on AT&T prepaid site. Looks like the new plans lost the HD video streaming but Canada and Mexico roaming stays on the 15GB plan.

It is NOT on the website yet, but when you login to your prepaid account, select the Plan tab and you will see the new $40 Plan with 15GB and $30 Plan with 5GB. I changed the plan since today is my renewal day.

Also they removed the autopay discount on these new plan with a more straight forward pricing.

You still get multi-line discount with these new plans. For 2 lines on the $30 plan you pay $25 per line ($30 x 2 - $10)/2.

Tips #1: Change plan on the day before renewal to avoid excessive prorated charges.

Tips #2: Buy prepaid refill online at Target year round promotion to save an extra 10 to 15% and pay no taxes!

$40 15GB Monthly Plan
Good for 30 days upon payment of applicable plan charge. Not eligible for AutoPay discount. Unlimited Talk & Text: Includes unlimited talk and text within and between the U.S., Mexico & Canada and unlimited text from the U.S. to over 100 countries. For the list of over 100 countries available for texting from the U.S., go to att.com/prepaidintltext. Data: Plan includes 15GB of high-speed data in the U.S., Mexico & Canada. After high-speed data allowance is used, speeds are reduced to a max of 128 Kbps for rest of 30-day term. Mobile Hotspot use included. Video Streaming: Video streams in Standard Definition quality similar to DVD (about 480p). Ability to stream and video resolution may vary and be affected by other factors. For more details on coverage area availability, charges, restrictions and conditions, go to att.com/prepaid. Service provided by AT&T Mobility.

$30 5GB Monthly Plan

Q: Can someone clarify if AT&T prepaid WiFi calling works on all Unlocked phones? Why I ask is, I am using Cricket wireless and WiFi calling works only on Cricket branded phones and my home doesn't have good signal and rely on WiFi calling

Yes, I currently have an AT&T Unlimited Prepaid plan and am using an eSIM. Just need to go in store and ask them to convert your physical sim into an eSIM.

T&C says 40/25 does not qualify for multi line. Probably best to activate and setup in-store as the call-in reps wildly vary in helpfulness and honest information. In the last 2 weeks, many webpage variations of old plans have been replaced.
I can confirm that the 25gb new walmart 50 dollar plan and 40 with autopay can only be activated in a walmart by an osl rep and there are no more discounts available for less than 40.

If autopay is turned on, do refill cards fund the account at the autopay rate or the non-autopay rate?

you have to have a cc or other form of payment on file but yes a 1 cent transaction will go through 2 days before renewal it has to have the funds in the balance before that 1 cent transaction goes through

You will be charged the autopay rate as long as autopay is turned on. I always keep my account loaded with a few Target refills so I end up getting my $40.00 25gb plan for $36.00 with no taxes or 911 fees.

I'm on the tmobile 2 lines for $65 deal, unlimited data, voice and text (prepaid too). That breaks down to $32.50/month for each line. The price seems better than these both, unless your service sucks where you live(which seems to be common with TMobile). Any thoughts are greatly appreciated.

Is this offer still active? Mixed feelings about magenta coverage and personal issues with my Sprint account from the transition earlier this year.

Anyone can comment on the hotspot speed? I heard it's 125kb speed. Occasionally I may use it for my laptop.

Thanks. Do you use iPhone or Android phone for the personal hotspot?

Prepaid without contract, I'm thinking of adding this on for one month. Not sure if it will replace my current plan instead.

T-mobile prepaid has unlimited talk and text plus 5gb high speed for $25. And T-Mobile has way better customer service and service quality, at least, from my experience.

I think it is still active, that link still works here [t-mobile.com]. The trick is you have to go to the physical store to get put on the plan. It's actually pretty easy.
