So you purchase another impact wrench because you can't be bothered to switch from a 21mm to a 19mm? Hey, I guess you should buy an impact wrench for every socket you own to avoid that.

It is a good deal for both, not saying it isn't, but it doesn't seem like a useful combo.
1 for my garage, 1 for my shop. I can't be bothered to walk 60 yards for the tool.
The 1/2" brushed model (300 ft/lbs) delivers 50% more torque than the 1/2" brushless model (200 ft/lbs).

I have been extremely happy with my 1/2" brushed model, and this is an amazing deal if you don't have either yet.

What would be the benefit of having both of these sizes? I could see if the 3/8" drive was significantly smaller, but it's not that much of a difference. I currently own the 1/2" one and it has 3 speed settings.

I have the 3/8 and the 1/2 you don't have to switch sockets sizes. Better to have kore than less capabilities.

Switch socket sizes for what? I'm guessing you only have a few 1/2" sockets? In my case, most of my 3/8 and 1/2 sockets overlap. I would rather buy more 1/2" sockets instead of another impact wrench if I didn't have adequate sizes.

Yeah this combo fills an odd space. I would think people that would actually need to have both would more than likely already have sockets to use on either. Good price regardless.

All I am saying is better to have more than less. I bought the Ryobi 3/8 (150 lbs torque) yesterday at Direct tools for $49.99. I already have the Ryobi 1/2 impact wrench (300lbs torque). Also, the specification of the impact wrench varies. I also have the Milwaukee Mid torque. if I need 600 lbs of torques I have it and the M12 Stubby 3/8 for 250 lbs of torque. It depends on what you are working on and what you use the tools for.

I understand the need for more torque, but we're comparing these two Ryobi models. It's also why I mentioned the speed setting on the 1/2" drive. The M12 you have also has the compact advantage for reaching into smaller areas, but in the case of the Ryobis, the size difference is negligible..it's not beneficial to have both of these given their specs.

The 3/8 impact wrench is only capable of handling 150 lbs (max) of Torque and the 1/2 impact wrench at 300 lbs of torque. You use different impact wrenches for different specifications on the torque that is required. You don't use tools with higher torque to remove bolts from aluminum or other materials that are not able to withstand its torque specification. My friend is a mechanic and he uses all his impact wrenches for different components on the vehicle he is working on.
