Got the JBL 8" Arena in-wall and looking for 8" in-ceiling. I came across this yesterday and most of the places sell it for $195.

This is good. I think it's the price you can get if you call one of the distributors. Seller is third party FYI.

I believe these are overkill if you are using them for atmos. A $40 speaker is sufficient enough to play high frequency surround sounds.

Would you recommend for Front Left and Right Channels?

Are you talking about top front right and left for Atmos? These sounded crystal clear with good bass. You get TWO speakers for $149.

These are the top of the line for in ceiling Atmos. Fantastic price also, never seen this low.

I am saying "top of the line" is not necessary for speakers that are only playing surround sounds. You can spend $1k on each of your atmos speakers if you want, I just don't find it justifiable.

And for $188, these better be able to outperform my $40 speakers. I think money is better saved on atmos setup and put toward fronts, center, or ultimately the best sub you can afford.

To each their own.

Besides atmos speakers, in ceiling isn't optimal placement for speakers and these are super overkill for atmos. If you have in go in ceiling like I did, us a set of silver tickets. 8" is ridiculous for in ceiling also. Base should not come from above. I did 6.5s for all 6 (front, atmos and rear. The 2 10" in wall sub provides bass from front and rear at the floor level.

Who is silver ticket products? Where are the located? I looked at their website. I'm guessing a Chinese company that slaps their name on oem products, which isn't necessarily bad. Can you point me to any pro reviews? Not interested in what some anonymous "average Joe" thinks. They could be deaf for all we know. Lol. Thanks.

You're not interested in what "average Joe" thinks, yet you are asking random people on slickdeals to do your research.

Silver ticket is a company that makes projector screens. I have never heard of them making speakers.

As someone mentioned above, this is too much for Atmos/downfiring speakers. I got Micca R8 speakers for 60 each and it does a really good job for Atmos.
