Fantastic sale. Angel complete series has never been cheaper.

I grabbed Angel, 22 episodes each season.

Regarding Angel, which I've never watched...I note that the first four seasons are only available individually as SD,. the fifth season is both SD and HD...the bundle for all seasons is supposedly available in SD or HD.

Yeah, I wondered about that.

Only S5 was shot in HD. And vudu says the HD option was just made available digitally in 2019. I very much doubt that Angel was remastered in HD. A quick google search didn't shed any light on the subject.

I bought all these seasons back when they were only offered in SD for $9 each, IIRC. I can tell you that my vudu account shows they are already owned in SD, but not HD, FWIW.

Having said that, now that Apple TV app is widely available and some discounts to be had for iTunes GC it could be a better choice. Also now that Vudu was sold to Fandango probably because it was not too profitable for Walmart who knows how long it'll last. Unlike some movies that are MA eligible TV shows aren't so more risk.
