no it does not.

I think the previous poster maybe wrong. This seems to be possible using software as demonstrated on the LG site.

See: https://www.lg.com/uk/monitors/lg-35wn65c-b

Look for the video showing OnScreen Control
2020-11-30 10:53 AM
The OnScreen control is not PBP. PBP allows split screens from multiple sources (computers). The below website indicates that the PBP feature is not included.

is 100hz noticably worse than 144hz?

i love the jump from 60 to 144hz and will never go back, but not sure how noticable 100hz is.

Sharing some specs from both the spec sheets that I thought might be relevant...would love to hear thoughts on these...

ACER
144hz, 1ms response (clearly ahead of the LG here)
Color saturation - 93% DCI-P3 (how does this compare to the LG?)
Brightness - 320 nits native, 400 nits peak
Speakers - 2x 2W
Display stand - tilt only
2x display port 1.4
DisplayHDR400 certified (from the little research I did it sounds like this is inferior to HDR10 or at least does not mean the Acer is HDR10 certified)
https://mobilecontent.costco.com/..._Sheet.pdf

LG
100hz, 5ms response
Color saturation - 99% sRGB
Brightness - only listed as 300 nits (unsure whether native or peak)
Speakers - 2x 7W
Display stand - Height and tilt
1x Display port (doesn't explicitly say it's 1.4)
HDR10 certified
Display port cable included which costs around $20
https://mobilecontent.costco.com/..._Sheet.pdf

So to my monitor ignoramus brain it seems like the LG beats out the Acer when it comes to color accuracy (and has the bonus of better speakers and stand).... BUT the Acer has better refresh rates, response time and brightness

I'm leaning towards the Acer but I guess my main question is.... Is the difference between color accuracy significant based on these specs? I don't know how to interpret them and whether the color saturation differences are basically nothing or a LOT

(fwiw I plan on doing non competitive gaming and hopefully get my middle school kid into design, animation and editing)
I have the Acer, but really don't like the control, I needed to switch the inputs between HDMI and DP, many times I still don't know which button to press, it takes 1-2mins for one switch, may be just me but very bad UX. Also the color is not good either. Won't play any game on it, so likely will return and get the LG. One thing I like is 1500r, I am hoping the LG is also 1500r or not a big difference if it's 1800R

Wow, nothing like that b for me. Great eye popping colors, low lag, smooth motion with gsync and hdr pops in modern warfare.

The Acer is a MUCH better monitor. It has 93 DCIp3, which is equivalent to ~143% SRGB.

99% SRGB is standard, but it's shitty in comparison.

I would like a good monitor for office work. Is the HP monitor below (price $399 at tigerdirect) better than the above monitors? Any comments are very much appreciated.

Without USB-C is this a deal breaker for Mac?
I use a DP to USB-C adapter with Surface Laptop 3 and it works fine

I really like the Acer (costco deals) better than this LG. The Acer seams to have more controls and switches automatically between inputs, for example using my work computer during the day and home computer at other times, and the LG I had to manually do this evertime I switched between the two computers.. The buttons are weird, but useable on the Acer, so I like the LG buttons better. The Acer can do picture in picture, but not the LG. The LG actually sounds pretty good, the Acer not so good. I also like the greater curvature of the Acer.

Thus is my question too, but the problem is we will get responses here from people advocating 60-75hz if you use the monitor for office work. The problem with that is I've been there tried that and I notice a world of difference including strain on my eyes when not using my 120hz. I've never tried 100hz before thooo

Nice to see widescreen monitors at this resolution and refresh rate starting to hit reasonable prices. I bought an Alienware a year or so ago but it has way too much IPS glow which basically meant that i couldn't stand using it in a darkened room.

Only use CRTs for day trading. You get that sweet 0.01ms response time, and those deep blacks means your account will be deep in the black.
.01ms? Damn, that's not even enough time for the algos to frontrun your trade!
