I really wish we could pick and choose PS Now games to purchase instead of needing a subscription. I only want PS Now for Metal Gear Solid 4. I can't justify spending $45 a year just for that one game. For others that want to play a wide library rather than just one or two games though, this is a good deal.
New games are $59.99 so $45/yr seems pretty reasonable imo

Sure, the problem for me is you pay $60 for a game once and you own it forever. In my case here, I'd be spending $60 every year to rent one game.
Paying $42 a year for access to over 700 games is totally such a horrible deal.. ;+)

It's $44.99 on the official playstation site.
So 6% more expensive? Thanks?

You'll have access to many other games, though, including the MGS HD Collection. MGS 5 Ground Zeroes and Phantom Pain are also available on there. You should be able to get through all of these games within the next 12 months before the end of the subscription. I recommend the 1-week free trial of PS Now to see if it meets your expectations, and I'm sure you'll have no qualms about getting the 1-year subscription.

On that website the 12-month membership refers to PS Plus, as opposed to PS Now. It's just bad nomenclature.

Knowing how bad I am about actually catching up on my backlog of games already hoarded throughout all the various digital services, not to mention disks I've gotten deals on, I'm trying to talk myself out of this even though it's a great deal 🤣.

But at the same time I'm wondering if I should grab it to preempt and hopefully grandfather in any potential coming playstation version of "game pass ultimate" that was hinted at. Yes, I realized psNow is basically that but it sounds like they may be planning to try to compete on a bigger level possibly.

Tried 3 different ways and every time the site would say I canceled my payment even though I didn't. Seems like a scam.
