The Orbits B-Hive 12-Zone Smart Indoor/Outdoor Sprinkler Controller

This isn't the all time cheapest, its still a pretty good deal below the $103 average. You also might qualify additional rebates from your local water company. In LA county, I'm qualifying for $80 rebate.

I've been looking around and this seems to be a good option vs the Rachio. With the physical dials, I won't need to replace it if Orbits ever discontinues the app.

I got this one new before on eBay at around $80. However, I returned it to buy the latest Orbit timer because of 20% coupon found on some threads at the time. I like this one too, because it is well built and your settings made on that timer are synced to the app and vice versa. The screen makes it look somewhat outdated but still works well.

Bought this unit in 2017 and finally installed it in 2019. It works really well. The forecast does tend to overestimate rain so it does underwater a little bit. But app is intuitive and It's 100 percent reliable. Not sure why so many pay double for rain machine or the other one.

I had this and hated it due to their buggy app. I got a Rachio instead and their app is so much better. The weather prediction is also better on the Rachio.

I've mentioned this in the other thread but I would stay away from Ranchio. This is the unit to get. The reason I say this is that it still has all the onboard dials and buttons so that you don't necessarily need to have your phone with you. This is convenient if you have lawn service. Also agree on 100 reliable. The app is awesome. Not sure what the other person is talking about.
