Been waiting for the digital code to go back on sale. Hard copy is the same price at multiple retailers.

Assuming you mean the original Zelda on the Switch (aka BotW), I Enjoyed BotW dramatically more. I paid $40 for Link's Awakening and feel I overpaid. It's decent and the graphics are beautiful, but it still feels like a GB game in terms of design (simplified mechanics, a giant fetch quest too add duration, etc. I can see it being amazing even with its rudimentary graphics back in the day, but not in 2020. It's incredibly easy, even for a Zelda gXmas.
and wasn't that much better than some of the Indie clones like Blossom Tale.

I have been playing Zelda since the NES, and it's one of my favorite series although I never owned LA on the original Game Boy so I don't have nostalgia for it. In my opinion, this really should have been $40 at launch and under $30 during sales.
It is the Gameboy game... https://youtu.be/m3gjvaPMwls

They just remade the exact game. Not as bad as a port imo. I just bought it digital for the kids during xmas.

I am fully aware it is; I was just trying to say it still plays like one. Which is a shame as the groundwork for a great 2D Zelda game is there, it just feels constantly held back by systems and designs ideas from three decades ago.

You're right. Bethesda presents Legend of Zelda is great and not just stuff that every other game did better during it's development. But you're entitled to the opinion you read somewhere and adopted as your own.
>Implies anyone who likes one very different game more than another had their opinion spoonfed to them

>Parrots the most re-used comparison of BotW=SkYrIm ZeLdA LUL xD

But I guess you're entitled to the opinion you read somewhere and adopted as your own. You definitely sound like the objective and original one, with a post history of repeatedly starting arguments on Zelda deals, repeating the exact same hot takes you made here.

If you buy digital it will only be playable on one single console - you can't buy games on 1 Nintendo account and share digital games between 2 consoles. There may be a method to have the profile work on multiple consoles but it involves signing in and out and won't allow coop play. With Physical, you just pop the cartridge between consoles and there's no concern.
Please don't provide misinformation. Just because you don't know how to do it doesnt mean that it can't be done. https://www.digitaltrends.com/gam...do-switch/

Why would you want a digital copy over a physical copy?

This is a great game. So much better than BotW.
Sorry it's not even in the same league as botw. Maybe you like basic gameboy games or you just suck at botw.

Botw is money well spent for the number of hours of great game play you get out of it. If you want a challenge, go fight a white Lynel. Very enjoyable game.

How replayable is this game? I'm trying to split more of my purchases between physical for more one and done games and digital for ones I'll come back to over time

How come? I just bought two consoles for the family, can you please elaborate? Thx.
digital games are tied to an account and will need to be logged in to play the game, carts are always better because can use on multiple consoles and resell after its played

Would not recommend going digital. There's not much replay-ability and you can resell this used in eBay for $30. I'd try to just buy it either used or for $30 from Walmart and reselling it once you beat it like 15 hours later
