I bought one, the back is too short, otherwise no complain.

Does it go to the middle of your back? Because that's how it's being marketed...

Will this fall apart and impale the middle part into my butt?

Higher than that.

This is fine for the price. The plastic lumbar support can be uncomfortable if you sit a certain way but otherwise no complaints.

I haven't had this specific one but I've had a few similar ones and they're all the same, the mesh tends to stretch overtime and all your left is that flimsy plastic piece to support your entire back. Not the biggest fan of these chairs.

I understand it's not going to be premium quality, but does it look like you might get a few years out of it?

It is well built. Look at the image posted above: the back part and the arm rests are connected together with 4 big screws; the arms are round one piece; very sturdy structure. The lumber feature showing in this image is true. With my other chair, I always feel bent like what's on the right side of the photo, my heart suffers.

This chair also rolls a super wide angle! My other chair is also roll-able, but barely, virtually no roll at all. That chair was bought from Staples for $50 during the first pandemic wave. It is not a bad chair, but the non-lumber back, very little rolling angle and stupid "T" arm rests suck. This Walmart chair is much better, and $10 less (it was $40.47 last week)
