Good deal. However, for now I will take the Dell Inspiron 15 5505 model with Ryzen 5 4500U, available at $488. Both have similar spec and build quality, display (Lenovo is a bit brighter) but Dell has a huge advantage of having 2 user upgradable memory slot and you can go up to 64GB, max Ram supported by Ryzen 4000 series.

The hurdle isn't the ram, it's the storage expansion. Has two M.2 slots but deceptively one slot is bluetooth/wifi. Adding a SSD is something simular to a MacGyver TV episode with homemade brackets, heatshields and supergluePeace

This is an exaggeration. The build specs show the 2.5" bracket should be included. It's possible you might need the cable, and this is easily ordered from many sources; Amazon even has it [amazon.com]. Not a big deal.

When you are right..... you are right. And you are right!! With a good spudger tool, you too, can add a new a new hard drive to a inspiron 5000 series laptop. You will probably have to aquire a new connection cable from your new ssd hard drive to the motherboard. $10.

I stand corrected. Well done

This has dual heat pipes which helps keep the fan noise down when connected with multiple monitors. Other laptops with recent ryzen chips dont

Good luck finding one of these now folks, seems to be sold out everywhere.
Also, good luck with your Dell orders, as it seems production delays are an issue.

Does EXTRA50 stack with the email coupon? I've it down to $485 with this coupon already, but still not receiving any emailed coupon so far. I wonder if I should keep waiting?

EDIT: Received the coupon. They don't stack. By the way, the delivery estimate is Feb 17. Will cancel if another better deal comes along.
