Every time these are posted, I have to give them a thumbs up, because these headphones are great. I have these, Surface Headphones 2, and Sony Hear.On 2 (WH900). The ANC on the Jabra's might be a little less effective, but the sound quality is first rate, and the call quality rivals the Bose 700. If Jabra has a specialty, it's call quality. So if money isn't an object, and you're looking for some zone-out headphones to take on the plane, sure, spend twice the price for the Sony MX4s. But for all-purpose headphones that do everything well and do calls great, these are a good option.

After researching both the Sony WH-1000XM4 and Jabra 85h, I went with the Jabra via this deal. Jabra is a step ahead of Sony (according to my research) in terms of dual-connection, fold-to-off, standby, and water resistance.

Great point made!

Worth getting refurbished at 110 instead? Several places have it at this price (target, walmart)

FYI, these don't get very big. I couldn't extend the yokes far enough to fit my head. They're otherwise a solid pair of headphones though.

How are these with glasses? I'm thinking mowing the lawn -- will they seal okay and not hurt?

thanks for the tip :-)
since they're *manufacturer* refurb, I'm going for it
they have 3 yr. warranty with it for $20 too
New at amazon come with this warranty:
" Q: How does the water/dust warranty work?
A: Hi there- thanks for your interest in the Jabra Elite 85h! The Elite 85h carries a one-year Manufacturer's warranty which begins the day you buy your headset. There is also an additional two-year warranty against water and dust when you register the headset in the Jabra Sound+ app.
By Amazon Customer on June 18, 2020 "

https://www.walmart.com/ip/Jabra-.../582624866

or same deal at fleabay, w. 180-day warranty from Jabra, or 1 yr. Square Trade warranty for $13
https://www.ebay.com/itm/Jabra-El...Sw3ZFfpHV3

After doing the research and thinking how I'll use this set of cans (walking in the rain in the PNW), I'm going to buy them new

Edit: going with ebay at $110 with manufacturer's (180-day) warranty, crossing my fingers

Got a pair two months ago and have said some positive things (great range, good call quality), and not so great things (tight, uncomfortable fit, the physical button is squeaky and annoying to use). The sound and noise cancelling are about on par with the Sony H.ear On 2, but these are totally blown out of the water by the XM3. Like, it's not even close.

Had a problem with the play/pause button not working - customer service had me forget the device in my phone and clear the bluetooth cache, but the problem started again in a week. Also starting last week the left ear cup started loudly crackling randomly, making these pretty much unlistenable - called Customer service again, they had me reinstall firmware which didn't fix anything so i guess I'll get a replacement (even though I wish I could just get a refund at this point).

I buy these for all employees at my company, regardless if they're on sale. Highly recommend them. Only complaint is that they don't fit every head, like mine (big), but otherwise amazing.

Have these for ~ 6 months and love them.
Use a lot for work calls. The dual BT connection works great.
The fact that I just put them on my head and they instantly connect + take them off and they shut off is great. Battery life is great and they charge really quick.
I find them comfortable and wear them for hrs at a time.
Sound is good.
I have had zero issues with them.
