And it ~~does~~ doesn't come with/include a USB unifying receiver... it's a non-unifying receiver... but the mouse can be used with a unifying receiver... the description is apparently wrong.

How does that make sense to sell you a mouse and not include the unifying receiver to connect it to/ with. The magnitude of expected returns will talk the manufacturer out of this nonsense.

It just comes w/ a basic USB receiver to connect the mouse, but it is not a Unifying type. I already have a Unifying receiver from a previous Logitech mouse I purchased. It paired w/ that.

Some people don't need more than that.

I bought this for my kid who's clicking during school was driving me crazy!

This mouse really is completely silent. Enough that I don't know if I'd like using it myself as it doesn't give uou much tactical "click" feedback
