This is an 8-inch tablet, much more compact than the A7 (but smaller screen, obviously). So you should choose between them based on size, not price. Both have their uses, but I personally prefer 8-inch tablets for portability and comfortable hand-holding.

I bought this last time it was this price. It's pretty terrible. Web browsing is super slow and it's just laggy all around. I tried this one and 2 other tablets in this price range (Lenovo M8 and Fire HD 10). I have to say for $80 the Fire HD + the toolkit online worked out absolutely amazing for me.

Edit: the screen is very sub par. My Nexus 7 which I replaced had a MUCH better screen.

Is this suitable just for reading comics? I have the last nexus 7 but the charging port has gone loose and won't charge anymore.
Just need something to read comics and I won't touch the Amazon trash
