I’ve had good experiences previously with Adorama. Also this isn’t a question (but this is?)

Sorry. I went over the limit of 140 characters, so I guess my adjustments didn't save. Maybe I'll take a risk. Thanks for you input.

I jumped and placed my order. Crossing my fingers!

My experience has been that Adorama has been similar to B&H. (They’re a mile or so apart in NYC and seem to have some similarities.) They’ve got their issues but I’ve had largely positive experiences at both. If you have any issues I would genuinely be interested to hear because I haven’t, besides a less than stellar in-person experience.

WTB arc for .... 480 please.
Same. I don't think we will have to wait long. Sonos's sale kicked off the Wed before Thanksgiving last year.

Do people buy this subwoofer mainly because it's not a giant block and can more easily aesthetically fit into a setup or does it really perform well?
It's a big plus to be able to place it anywhere that you want/can get the best sounds out of, but the base itself is absolutely incredible. Deep, rolling rumbling, yet still subtle rather than loud thumpings. I have the Gen2 and I can't believe I didn't get it (and the Sonos ecosystem as a whole) sooner.

Got the Beam last BF for this same price. TLDR thoughts, sounds WAY bigger than the size. I always thought Sonos had a brand premium for premiums sake (i.e. Bose), but all in all, it's totally worth the cost if you stream most of your music over the internet (i.e. Spotify) and need a soundbar, and use Google home or Alexa.

It replaced a 2.1 Sony soundbar w/sub, but tbh, the spatial sound is much better from the Beam even though it's half the length. Obviously a dedicated sub sounds better, but the amount of low frequency this thing can grab w/o distorting and sounding decently rumbly is very surprising.

It was my first Sonos speaker, and had me sold on Sonos products. Actually have an Arc in my cart w/ their 15% upgrade discount.

It is sonos. So in 5 years they might stop supporting it.

Yeah, I got the beam last Black Friday too, love the thing - can't remember the price though, I thought it was more like $229?

Actually I think you're right. A few places had it at that price, got mine from Costco.

Both. Sonos is pricey but you get what you pay for.

If you are talking about the Costco deal from last year, it was close to $180...I got it at last BF too.

It was $180 at Costco. I got two ONE SL later for surroundings and now I am eyeing a sub.

Just a reminder for any Costco members that the shadow version will be $10 less starting tomorrow. Otherwise a good price. https://slickdeals.net/share/iphone_app/t/14545844
stop costing me money....

Side note if anyone can answer: I have a vizio soundbar right now (this system [costco.com] - I don't use the sub/rear speakers because my apartment is too small). I also have an echo studio. I haven't honestly been super impressed by the audio quality for the studio. How much better is the beam than the vizio? My logic is to sell both and get just the beam instead. Does the beam work well from watching tv to playing music via the sonos app or casting to it?
