Trying to figure out which controllers are old Gen. How about the black one someone linked to with the USB C cable? Since it uses USB C does that mean its new Gen.?

Contacted Target to PM the ones I JUST bought for them at launch - still haven't opened them luckily.

Because Microsoft is not listed as a competitor, they refused. They also said because the site asks you to sign up (even though that's just a pop-up you can close) they can't honor a PM.

Looks like I'll be returning 3 xbox controllers to Target. *shrug

If it was $5 I wouldn't do the swap, but $60+? This is kind of a no brainer. No one's going to keep them if it saves them that much. Bad policy.

Also Microsoft isn't a competitor for Microsoft products? Yikes.

The rep was nice enough and I don't want to ruin anyone's day, but I imagine Target and anyone else who doesn't PM this is just going to get their accessories back - or the ones from Microsoft that show up next week in their place.

Never underestimate an illogical corporate policy!

Just look at the d pad. New gen is circular. Old is a t.
