Don't do it! These cameras are trash. I am extremely unhappy with my purchase but am stuck with all 8 of my cameras. Terrible range, terrible night vision, terrible motion detection.
That's BS! I live in a 4 story house over 3000sqft and I have zero issues. They work way better than Ring or Arlo and I have had both. In fact these replaced an overpriced Arlo system.
Also, you bought them on Amazon so why didn't you return the cameras??? Dude you need help
I have a 2500 SQ ft home and moved the sync module around the entire home. Their claim of 65 foot range is BS. Couldn't get 30 feet of range in some areas. The night vision is so extraordinary bad. They claim 2 years of battery life but that's only if you have the cameras on minimal settings with 5 second clips. Motion detection doesn't work half the time. Wish I bought Eufy cameras or got a wired system.

I bought the 5 camera kit on prime day. Was not at all happy with them. Found the 4 camera eufy kit deal a week later for about $40 more. Got that. Tested them side by side. Eufy is MILES ahead of these blinks. I have side by side video comparisons of the eufy picking up cars on my driveway over 100 feet away on my front door cam and the blink not picking up a person on my front porch until they actually knocked on the door. I don't miss the extra camera either cause I had to place two blinks on my driveway to cover it and one eufy handles it with ease. Not to mention the mystery of whether local storage on the blinks will be viewable on the app. Also, I don't have to worry about over using them and buying batteries since the eufy are rechargeable. Just my 2 cents and experience

I can't believe the dumb comments on these.

Yes the camera takes LiOn batteries.

Camera is motion only. So with that said the more the camera is going off on motion and recording the more You're using it.

The mention display can be adjusted if you're picking up environmental motion like wind moving a trees branches and leaves constantly . But like I said if it's Constantly recording your battery life is going to be a lot less.

I've had my both of my xt2's for over 2 years. Only changed the battery once in the one . Of course my recording schedule is m-th. 7-3

I have a 3000 sqft house and haven't had an issue yet. I have two wireless routers in my house set up On the same network and the blink brain setup in the garage. (Camera out front and Camera in my backyard)

I'm more curious about the storage fees and if I'm grandfathered in with older camera system. I suspect it's camera based so I'll have to use a usb for this camera on the actually brain?

Trash? Do you care to elaborate? The reviews are pretty good. I just ordered a 2 camera set and was wondering if there is a way to avoid the monthly fees and store the video on SD Card/hard drive? Thanks

Old XT's are cloud-based and videos can be downloaded

Just so I'm clear, I have had an XT2 for over a year and I can add these new outdoor cameras on to the same sync module without paying for a subscription?

that's a debate you will lose if you value your privacy and dont know how to block network traffic....its been proven that wyze sends data overseas

Same price on kohl's with 45$ cash back . Ordered 3 in 149$ with 45$ kohls cash

All I'm seeing is single cameras and when I try to add the 15% off code it says not eligible. 🙁

I have two xt2 and two outdoor. They are great cameras for the money. The xt2 have way better night vision and seem to be better at capturing faster moving objects.

I have four of the original XT's still in the box. Am I screwed as far as subscriptions go since I never opened an account with Blink?
Can anyone tell me whether I'll need a subscription or not with these four original XT's?

I'm pretty sure you will.
