Great for what they are. Set up a schedule or be armed all the time. I've been running 2 at the front door for over a year on the same batteries.
I have mine set up for 20 second clips. I'd say 7 out of 10 times, I get the amazon drivers back side leaving my house after he drops off a package. Never get him walking up to the door. Not sure why the motion detection doesn't pick him up. I've fiddled around with the settings enough to know it's just not going to happen. If I reduce the clips to 10 seconds I get nothing. The range is fine for me...both cams are about 30 feet from the module.
Night vision is ok. Not great, not terrible.
Be aware that you can't live view on anything but your phone. Yes it can be done by downloading a bunch of stuff to make the cameras think your laptop is a phone...but I run linux so I'm not jumping through all those hoops.
The only way to view recorded video on your pc is to download the videos from the app or usb stick.
I have an amazon cloud cam for indoor that is wonderful. I wish they would've pursued a system using those cams and software. But I'm sure they don't want to compete with the own blink cams.
All in all...if I could return them and try something else I would. Not that it would be better....I'd just like to try and find out if there is something better. That said a hard wired system would fit all my needs but I'm a renter and can't poke a bunch of holes in this house.
