If anyone is looking for a small but powerful setup in the $100 price range I can honestly say I have never heard a better setup. Most computer speakers like this are so terrible.

It uses power for its subwoofer when it's not being used. Shutting down causes issue? Anyone experience same?

I returned these speakers to Costco after the last sale. I hated that it didn't have an off button, and I had a static noise when not in-use (which was annoying for the bedroom).

Fantastic speakers and sub for the price. I bought the Harmon Kardon Soundsticks and the infamous logitech Z323 speakers but returned both in favor of this set. They get much louder and are clearer than the former and are worth the small investment. Nothing beats these in this price range and I'm still rocking them 5 years later.

Edit: I originally had the non-bluetooth version about a decade ago and went full circle back to these.

If you purchased online you can submit for price adjustment easily online. If purchased in store, you have 30 days or so with receipt for adjustment.

I had the same experience and returned for very same reasons. Sound was pretty good though.

I replaced with the Logitech Z623 when it was on sale for $100 at Best Buy and am happy with them (obviously my old Logitech Z2300s are better though).

I can't decide between a set like this or a 2.0 studio monitor setup. Worried the bass might be too boomy. Any opinions?

Are the Logitech Z623 that much better than these Klipsch speakers?

I don't know if the Logitech is better than these, but the Logitech ones have a power button so I can turn them off when I'm not using them so I don't have the static humming noise when not in use.
