"HOW TO ENABLE AND TUNE CLEARTYPE
If you want to use ClearType to improve text clarity, type in 'Cleartype' in the Windows search bar and choose the option 'Adjust ClearType text.' You'll then be prompted to go through a five-step tuning guide where you have to choose the box that looks best to you. On the first test where there are only two options, although it isn't clearly stated, the left choice is for monitors with an RGB sub-pixel layout, while the right one is for a BGR layout. Afterward, complete the tuning as directed. As always, features like ClearType are a matter of taste and some people may find it bothersome on some monitors, so you should adjust it to your preference. If you don't get the desired result, the tuning can always be performed again or you can disable it completely."
because they use cheap led strips
consider yourself lucky if you get 12000 hours out of this
I already have dim spots in my 43s405, which is just under 2 years old.
These are disposable tv's.
my first 43s405 burned out one led which resulted in the whole half of the screen to shut off.
I was looking at my screen while an led went dim.
I wonder if other TV brands are more reliable when you use them for 16 hours a day.
this is what my white screen looks like with a big dim spot in the upper mid left area....

Also, is it possible to use a dongle to enable bluetooth, so I can use bluetooth headphones on TVs like this? I know some are capable, but not all.
The 43S425 or whatever it's called is an excellent inexpensive 43-in 4K monitor. That's what I would buy one of these for. But only if it's as good as the other one.
The ability to watch youtube without ads alone is worth the switch to android for me.
I am trying to decide between this and the Insignia fire tv version, which has the data limit functionality...
I have the Roku version that works fine, but I just got this Android version and the chroma is off. I've been looking all over settings to see if I can change something but nothing I do works. I know the cable and GPU card is good because the same computer/cables work with the Roku TCL version.
