Extend to fit does not have the final booster seat only stage. I think of both are 3 in 1, with extend to fit going from baby , stage 1 , stage 2 while nautilus goes stage 1 , stage 2 and stage 3. Buy nautilus if you kid is past 2 years
DO NOT buy a nautilus if your kid is around 2 years. It does not rear face. Buy this if your kid is done rear-facing.
Aside from that, it is a great car seat! We have 4 (two in each car)

I thought usually kids 2 years onwards are done with rear-facing and transition into front-facing
Any particular reason you are saying not to buy this?

They recommend rear face as long as possible these days since its safer. My 4yo can still rear face with the 4ever extend2fit
Most kids won't hit the upper limit of the car seat for rear face til probably around 4 or 5
In theory yes I agree rear-facing for longer is safer.
However I am not sure in reality if parents end up following that.
Kids who are about 2 years and above especially if you have one like mine are always curious to look around and don't like to be sitting rear-faced at all unless watching something on the phone.
We have a newborn 3 months old, already using Graco newborn one rear facing that will work for next 2 years. Should I get this one for future or let it be?
