My first post so be kind, please!
Have been looking for a 4K Blu-ray player and didn't need any "Smart" features. Originally $179.
I did a search here and didn't find any similar posts.
Please delete immediately if this isn't a relevant deal, and apologies if I screwed this up royally!

The UB820 is going for $349!
Just bought one. For those saying it's a lot, don't buy it. This is for the videophiles taking advantage of OLED/high end type TVs
Dolby Vision and superior audio. The UB820 is the best player under $800. The UB420 ($150 on sale) has the same video capability as the 820 without Dolby Vision. So if you have a Samsung TV (they don't use Dolby Vision), the 420 is highly recommended.

Forgot to add that shipping was free for me, but I chose the free store/curbside pick up for today. Shipping would've taken 3 days.

This is normal price for a HDR10 player.
okay, apologies. All of the other 4K Ultra players I've seen online were between $150-$200. Maybe I haven't been looking in the right places!

It's still a good deal OP for a basic 4K UHD blu-ray player. Not really a "normal" price yet, so I wouldn't worry. We might see better deals in the coming days. Thanks for sharing!

What justifies the cost difference

Only one hdmi output, which could be a problem if you have an older receiver you want to use. Some players have two separate hdmi outputs: one with 4k video to go straight to the TV, and a separate audio only one to allow bitstreaming to receivers that don't support 4k video or modern content protection standards.

I have a 65 OLED and a 9.2.4 nakamichi setup, would this be better than using an xbox one x?

Couldn't you just use an optical digital cable to the receiver instead or no?
