I'm a software engineer, with a 2000 sqft home and 600 sqft workshop. We have gigabit internet at home. We have 5 of these, and they are the most reliable and fast mesh system we've ever used. This is an awesome deal. They work even better if you can get an ethernet drop to some or all of them.

Do any of the add on nodes have Ethernet port in & out? Would like to use these in my wired home and have one device needs Ethernet at each location.

Each node has two ethernet ports that can be used for in/out. Each node can also serve as a separate router or serve as satellites to one main, as there is no designation unlike other mesh systems.

If you really wanted, you could split this pack and setup four separate wifi networks.

A lot of debate between this system, the Orbi AC3000 and the ASUS ZenWiFi AC, and you'll get a different opinion depending on who you ask. All are very good.

I ll weigh on this. Nighthawk is decent but does not have parental control built in the app. You need to set up a separate account. Also the network os more stable than deco but drops. I used the deco m9 and they have a pretty good parental app but seems like the network drops. I am getting the xc90 deco which is a6.0 network. Hoping the network is more stable and faster that m9.

I am tempted to try these too. How ia the parental control app?

Is this overkill for a 4-storey 2,400 sq. ft. luxury Townhome?

No, that's exactly what this would be built for

Is this the same one that was for $200 at best buy?

Is this and/or the nighthawk better than the Google wifi mesh (not the newer nest one)?
