I tried these at the store and liked them. Does anyone have any real (practical, not at a store) experience as to how they compare to the XB950BT? I purchased them at a similar price a few years ago but they unfortunately broke.

I went to the store to test out the NC function, I honestly didn't notice NC working. Maybe its the floor model issue.

I believe the main difference between these and the XB950BT are these don't fold, they aren't compatible with Sony's (excellent) headphone customization app, and the XB950s are geared towards people who like a bass heavy sound signature. Also, these have Bluetooth 5.0 while the XB950s have Bluetooth 4.2. The XB950s have a lot better codec support if that matters to you, but both support AAC so if you're using apple devices, codecs won't be an issue.

I bought these last time they were $88. I returned them. The plastic is really cheap, the ANC does not work well, and the quality of the sound is not great. I know you always hear a slight buzz when ANC is turned on with any headphones that have it, but with this pair the buzzing was really noticeable to the point that it was distracting. Maybe it was just the pair that I received but I was really disappointed with these. Also just an FYI this new version of this particular headphone no longer works with Sony's headphone app whereas the last model did.
