But I think the biggest thing I wasnt expecting from the Eufy cams is the encrypted sd card. On the wyze, I could just pop out the sd card and copy the videos onto my pc. On the Eufy, it is not allowed. You have to download the videos from your phone and then connect the phone to your pc. You can only download the captured videos too and only in the increments that are recorded if the camera picks up the movements - even in continuous recording mode. Very time consuming and cumbersome. FYI.

Perhaps make a wyze thread so you can promote it instead of just shitting on this one?
I have this Eufy camera, just got it actually and feel that's it's good for what I want. I don't care about cloud, feel like that's a charge waiting to happen personally.
Everything has positives and negatives, what works for one doesn't work for another.

the wyze v3 is an improvement to all the other garbage that they have sold but they still have a long way to go before i buy anything from them again.
I can also see this working in the Garage as mentioned but wasnt super helpful with pet tracking indoors. It also has issues with the IR LEDs through glass and causes the focus to not work at night. One of our hopes was to have street and alley level video for our home during travel but it doesn't accomplish that from indoors.
I have a few of these but haven't really played with the settings much. As far as the pan/tilt following a subject, can u set up a specific point for the camera to return to after that event is complete? Or does it just stay where it stopped and u have to just accept that spot as the "new" starting point for the next event?
Thx
