try selling them to eyeslick, looks like he/she is into that type of stuff
pretty much what you said anything from wyze is a toy. i kind of knew that going in but the harbor freight factor has set in on these things as time passed.
I second the use for a pet camera. Phenomenal and a lot better than when I had a Furbo. Sure it may just be a matter of time before the human/crying/pet detection turns into a paid option but to this point it has been great. The crying picks up a puppy crying if placed correctly.
What memory card is everyone using, the samsung endurance pro?
I have a few of these but haven't really played with the settings much. As far as the pan/tilt following a subject, can u set up a specific point for the camera to return to after that event is complete? Or does it just stay where it stopped and u have to just accept that spot as the "new" starting point for the next event?
Thx
Yes. You can set a primary viewpoint that the camera will return to after motion is no longer detected. I used to have to do a "Calibration" in the past when it would sometimes not consistently return to the set viewpoint but not recently. Maybe recent software updates have fixed this.
Anyone try to use this outdoor ? From the YouTube reviews it looks like video is better then the eufy cam pro 2
I am using this outdoors and mounted under a second story deck. I covered mine with this 4" x 6" clear cylinder from Amazon ( https://smile.amazon.com/gp/produ...UTF8&psc=1) and drilled a hole for the micro-USB power line. I then drilled two holes for the mounting screws to go through the top of it and here's the end result. I have IR flood lights already installed so I didn't need the eufy's IR LEDs and taped them over with electrical tape. As others have noted you cannot turn off the IR LEDs without completely turning off night vision. Unfortunately I don't have enough street/ambient light at night time for this to be an option; hence the separate IR flood lights.
Is there a Eufy indoor camera that can connect and store video on the home base? Why do I have to get an SD card if I already have a home base that my doorbell and outdoor cameras use ?

free pet and person detection
no free cloud storage
better resolution ( in good light )
12 seconds with a killer 5 minute cooldown render it truly useless for security purposes.
The app is also horrible for longer length downloads. Android downloads were corrupted on download and the iOS app took the entire time of the video to process the download a few months ago.
received my 2k today and been testing it through a window, this thing is solid. Turn off night vision and I still can view neighbors house about 60 yards away with clarity via street lights. Motion detection is on the money and the adjustments are far more accurate than any I have tried. I'm sticking with eufy going forward. It's a shame, I didn't buy more at this price.

Like you, I have the Eufy Indoor 2K pointing out my front window and I have yet to receive a person detection alert. I've set sensitivity to highest and still no luck. I've had several people at the front door and they are clearly visible when I review the footage.
I previously had a Wyze V1 camera there and it always hit on the person detection so I'm a bit surprised and disappointed in Eufy's person detection capabilities.
