highly don't recommend, this dashcam is very old now and has been around 40 bucks for the past few years. The new dashcams are way better in terms of quality. I have this and replaced it with a a119v3
I generally agree with aphael about the price... I got mine around $50. The video quality is OK for 1080. However, it still could see the other license plate clearly. My other concern is the suction cup... It comes offer after 2 month of use. When you try to stick it back... It will work for 1 mo
Got a Roav Duo during Prime Days and sent it back last week. Was unimpressed with it. Would've been okay if you could've watched the stream it was picking up on your smartphone, but you can't. The other annoying this is the collision sensor will beep every time you go over a speed bump or train tracks. As far as the suction cups, if you apply them properly, they're not coming off easily. When I removed mine, it took a good 5 minutes to work it off the glass.

Have you tried changing the sensitivity? I went from High to Medium on my Roav, now it doesn't turn on recording as often when I do something as simple as closing my door.
What technique do you use to attach the suction cup?

I turned the sensitivity down, but it still thought there was a collision. It got to be annoying because I drive a lot for work, so I had to listen to it beeping at me rather frequently. As far as the holder, I washed the area then made sure it was dry. When I added the suction cup, I kept pressure on it for about 30 seconds. Of course I had to take if off to return it,. so I had to work it off with the plastic wire tool until I could get it loose enough to pull it off.
The thing I didn't like the most was the only way to see what the cams were viewing was to take out the SD card and put it in a card reader. Would've been better if you could see the stream from your phone, but no bluetooth.
